Native Purified GMP Proteins


GMP Peptides Unlike recombinant proteins, native proteins are proteins purified from their natural sources, including whole blood, plasma, and serum from humans, animals, etc. Produced in vivo, they undergo natural modifications such as cleavage of precursor proteins, disulfide bond formation, phosphorylation or glycosylation, allowing them to retain natural folded and assembled state, unaffected by external factors such as heat, chemicals and enzymatic reactions. Because their behavior closely resembles that in vivo, native proteins are ideal candidates in a variety of applications, such as ELISA, Western Blot, and immunoprecipitation.

Native and Denatured States of Proteins

Proteins are stable and active in their native state. In biophysics, the native state of a protein is defined by a low entropy with a relatively low intramolecular enthalpy. Changes in external conditions, such as increasing temperature, changing buffer pH, or adding denaturants, etc. will lead to changes in protein conformation, this situation is called the denatured state. At this point proteins with relatively high conformational entropy and intramolecular enthalpy can be detected.
